Payroll outsourcing
Transferring your payroll data to us is secure and straightforward. Typically, we help clients run payroll monthly, but we can also adapt to suit your specific requirements.
We’ll calculate the necessary deductions and complete all the required forms, for example:

Payroll processing
We require 2 – 3 days’ notice to process your company’s payroll, but we’ll send an automated reminder in advance. Once we’ve received the relevant information, we calculate the payroll using HMRC approved software.
Before we complete the pay run, we’ll submit it to you for approval. We will also detail how much you have to pay as the employer.
All businesses in the UK running payroll need to be Real Time Information (RTI) compliant. As part of our payroll processing service, we produce your employee payslips and complete your RTI submissions. CIS deductions do not fall within the scope of RTI.
After the payroll run, we will make the relevant journal entries directly into your accounting software ready for the year-end accounts.

Workplace pension auto-enrolment
All employers must provide a workplace pension scheme; ‘automatic enrolment’. Auto-enrolment for workers in the UK automatically puts them into a workplace pension scheme. The employee, the employer and the government make contributions to said employee’s retirement savings pot.
We can help guide you through the process. We can help set-up a pension scheme with Nest, or if you’d prefer to go with another pension provider, we can help complete the necessary integration.
Once this is set-up, we can help you make the relevant pension contributions, as well as helping manage employees who opt-out of auto-enrolment.

Student loan deductions
We can take care of your employee’s student loan deductions as part of our payroll services. There are several payment plans that your employees may be on, which will indicate when they start repaying their loan, and how much they are required to repay monthly. These consist of plan 1, plan 2 or plan 5 for loans taken out with Student Finance England.
This is applicable to employees who started their course before 1st September 2012.
This is applicable to employees who started their course between 1st September 2012 and 31st July 2023 and:
- Studied an undergraduate course
- Studied a Postgraduate Certificate of Education (PGCE)
- Took an Advanced Learner Loan
- Took out a Higher Education Short Course Loan
Employees who studied a postgraduate master’s or doctoral course will be on a Postgraduate Loan plan.
This is applicable to employees who started their course on or after 1st August 2023 and:
- Studied an undergraduate course
- Studied a Postgraduate Certificate of Education (PGCE)
- Took out an Advanced Learner Loan
Employees to studied a postgraduate master’s or doctoral course will be on a Postgraduate Loan plan.
Employees who took out a Higher Education Short Course Loan will be on Plan 2.
